Nothing beats a long
hot soak in the bath. I adore baths. Unfortunately the one in our house is so
huge it is completely impractical to use. It would take hours to fill and it
would be impossible to keep the water hot. Put it this way – it’s made for
orgies or communal showering. Six people and you’d still have room to throw a
party.
Anyway, my point is that
I am grateful for any opportunity to soak in a bath, and tonight I did just
that. Thanks to a work trip to Melbourne with a night in a hotel, I floated
around in steaming hot water like a princess…ohhh…it really is the simple
things in life.
